The picture blog has suffered from a couple of sick days, so we will have to go without knowing what the Malibu coast looked like on Monday or Tuesday. But we do have Wednesday at about 7:30. And we've got blue and orange, the school colors of my employer, appropriately enough.
And facing away from the sun gives a different quality of blue. It's been cool in the mornings the past several days.
Looking down the expanse of the empty parking lot at 7:30 AM, I got this very orange-ish view of the blacktop and the grass that has been allowed to go brown. If you blur your eyes or look at a tiny icon of this scene, the trees can look like a cliff that you would see in Arizona or Utah.Can't talk long. Been out two days so the work has piled up.
