Here's our first September picture.
The clouds are giving us a lot of depth today. Hope you all had a great holiday weekend. Don't know about where you were, but it was quite warm in Hollywood. I almost turned on the A/C but I'm such a cheapskate.Here's the view more toward the breaking sun--I was diggin' the sunbeam patterns this AM.
If you ever wondered why the ninth month September is called "Seven" (septem means seven in Latin), you can feel confident in believing that it used to the seventh month--this was back before Julius Caesar inserted a couple more months in-between, "July" for him, and "August" for his son. It's good to be king eh?
