Malibu morning picture of the day - President's Day, Monday, February 16, 2015

Dear Family, Friends, and Gentle Readers,

It is the start of a new week and here is your picture of the day:

There is a lot of low cloud cover today. It's starting to break up. You can see just of tiny "eye" of rosy sunrise light breaking through the clouds to hit the water's ednge toward the right of the screen. God uses spotlights sometimes.

Otherwise, it looks about like this at 7 AM this morning at the beach--hazy, indistinct horizon lines,

The weather has been running hot in the 80s here in L.A., very summerlike, but getting quite chilly in the nights. This is quite the opposite of our fellow Americans in the literal opposite corner of the U.S. (Northeast-New England) who are under 7-9 feet of snow.

Glad I'm not there. (from Weather.com)
Anyway, I am glad to be back here in Southern California after a few-weeks break. Check back in often to see what mornings in the 'Bu look like.

Love,
Pops

Be truthful and frank, but be polite. If you use excessive profanity, I'll assume you have some kind of character flaw like Dr. Wong. Tks!
