Maibu morning picture of the day - Monday, April 18, 2016

Dear Family, Friends, and Gentle Readers,

It's Monday morning (and my late father's birthday) and it's nice out for Dadd...

Clear as clear can be. It's been extremely windy here for a few days. But with all that blue, I think you need to see a red car, don't you?

This Toyota MR2 was parked in front of my house all day Sunday and overnight. I have not seen this in the neighborhood before.

Hard to not notice a red 1980s sports car with no dents hanging out. Compared to the lines on cars these days, these hard edges almost seem like they could cut you to shred. We sure liked our cars boxy back then didn't we?

Sorry if you're not a "Car Person." This kind of thing bores you to death, I know. But it's fun to seem vehicles older than 10 years senior on the road. You know there's either a lot of care there, or a cheapskate who really hates spending money on a vehicle.

Who was this mystery overnight guest in the neighborhood? One's imagination runs wild if you're a writer. The most likely scenario is some "friend" enjoying one of his/her "benefits" of friendship. You  do see a lot of younger people walking dogs in the neighborhood these days. I'll never know. Drive a grey civic and you're guaranteed never to have anyone fantasize about you.

Gotta go my friends, it's time to pay the rent.

Love,
Pops

Be truthful and frank, but be polite. If you use excessive profanity, I'll assume you have some kind of character flaw like Dr. Wong. Tks!
