iT'S STreeT arT THurSDay iN eaST HoLLYWood with Malibu pic - Thursday, November 5, 2015

Dear Street Art Lovers,

We return to the car wash of the Enlightened Beings of Western Avenue, but today we look at the dragons and other images that snake around the accompanying gas station of Satori.

This sucker just goes on and on. I'm merging them altogether. This guy did a LOT of painting. This is a different artist than El Mac who did the buddha and bodhisattva.

Artist Henry Goods, Dragons Etc., paint on concrete.
We have a lovely rendering of many motifs of popular Asian art--dragons, carp, gold sculptures, and even a white girl in "yellow-face"/white-face (figure that one out) ...

You're not going to read anything I write here, so I'm not even going to bother today. Let's just say this is one damn cool place to fill up on gas.

And here is the maker's mark for you all.

AND NOW BACK TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED SEASCAPE:

High clouds this chilly morning in L.A. Here's the second look too.

We had rain on Tuesday. A hailstorm actually passed through Malibu over my building. All of us L.A. people had to go out and look--we haven't seen rain or preciptation of that kind in a long time. Kind of a tourist attraction to us. Yeah, we're weird that way.

After I left the building at about 5:30 PM, it was dark out, but the camera sees in the dark whereas the human eye does not. So here is a cloud bank I faintly saw which was the last vestige of the hail system that had passed through earlier.

I was out of the office yesterday just in case you were looking for Wednesday's picture. So, we're short one. Gotta go people.

Love,
Pops

Be truthful and frank, but be polite. If you use excessive profanity, I'll assume you have some kind of character flaw like Dr. Wong. Tks!
