It is the first Monday of August 2015. I'm here earlier than usual, so today's photo looks more like what you would see in fall with a shorter day.
Now this looks more like a summer morning in SoCal. A clear sky promising a hot sun to beat down on you later in the day. Ain't nothin' like August here, except maybe September...
Here's your second look out Catatlina way, can't see it today though. "There's dark brownish haze on the water..." (sung to the tune of "Oh What a Beautiful Mornin').
