It's late, but there is a morning picture today.
Taken around 10 AM, it's a day of silvery blue water and diffuse clouds. Still symptomatic from my passing cold and had to leave late, being risk-averse and not wanting to get behind a steering wheel while enjoying a opiate-induced (relax, cough medicine codeine) euphoria.Here's the view of surfrider beach. Pretty calm. Boring if yr a surfer.
Still not allowed to take a sick day in slavery to fiscal year-end economics ... but that's OK. I'll get REVENGE someday.
Saw a tumblr post that said "The U.S. is pretty lucky that all blacks want is equality ... and not revenge." Pretty funny. The tumblr-verse is very different that the Zucker-verse and the Pinter-verse. It's like I'm back in high school surrounded by all kinds of optimistic, socially hopeful and cynical-naive young thinkers trying ideas out for the first time. If you're worried about turning into an old curmudgeon, I say open a tumblr account and just start randomly following where the popular crowd takes you there and you will get a lot of views you never got before.
The Zucker-verse is so sarcastic and jaded and snarky I feel like I need a shower and a Prozac after spending time there. It's funny how people who are not that way get pulled somewhat in that direction. Of course, I've been given the advice that if you never read follow-up comments online, the whole Internet is a actually quite a cheerful place filled with light.
