Malibu morning picture of the day - Friday, June 19, 2015

Dear Family, Friends, and Gentle Readers,

Morning June Gloom is trying to dissipate early ... we have some blue folks.

Can't see the horizon or the ocean yet, but there is a sky. And we have rainbow wanting to materialize, but it just can't seem to work up the necessary oomph. Note that we have a hawk sitting on the lamppost on the right too.

For a backlit view of said hawk lookin' toward Santa Monica, check out today's 2nd look.

I did try to record this hawk. It's a different one than usually sits here in the mornings. He/She looks pretty scruffy compared to our regular guardian. Must've gone on a bender last night.

Hope you have nice plans for Father's Day weekend, even if you don't have a father to celebrate, or if yours is an SOB that you'd cross the street avoid.

Remember, all it takes is one physiological spasm at an opportune time to give a guy that biological title; it takes the better part of a lifetime to give the title the honor it is due.

Love,
Pops

Be truthful and frank, but be polite. If you use excessive profanity, I'll assume you have some kind of character flaw like Dr. Wong. Tks!
