Malibu morning picture of the day - Tuesday, November 18, 2014

Dear Family, Friends, and Gentle Readers,

Yesterday was blue. Today? Not so much.

Looks like the clouds are pointing to Torrance/El Segundo area...

A really wide sweep

The clouds and wind were giving me two focal points today. So I snapped and cropped to both.

Zooming in to the view of Saddleback Mountain today, you can see the atmosphere really makes her silhouette pop.











Absolutely clear "Santa Ana Winds" day again. Catalina Island looks really close on day like today. I could even see traffic sparkling along the coast road as it moved in Pacific Palisades.

Catalina -- looks like you could swim there from here.

Sorry if this just looks like a photographer's proof sheet (the same thing over and over again); it's just that when you get a lot of subtle variation, I like to savor it.
