Malibu morning picture of the day - Thursday, May 1, 2014

Good morning all of you, here's my best shot today.

Nature gives you a vanishing point sometimes. You just have to be looking for it. Turn to the right and it's the stripe pattern.

A little break-up in the field of blue, but not to different from yesterday. No heavy gusts this morning. It's pretty serene at 7:30 AM.

Punching the "+" button moves up into the white-on-white pattern. I like the subtlety captured here.

At bottom of the picture you'll see something common here at the coast but I've never seen anywhere else. Whenever a real estate development is planned to go up, the builders put up a bunch of poles and string orange plastic from pole to pole to approximate the shape and size of the building they want to put up. This is to give notice to current residents how much of their view will be lost by the profile of the new construction. I suppose it is during this time that these dummy skeletons are up that you have the opportunity to lodge complaints and protests against the project  if you are affected.

It's going to be hot and dry again in Southern California. Hope you are enjoying the weather where you are.

Love,
Pops

Be truthful and frank, but be polite. If you use excessive profanity, I'll assume you have some kind of character flaw like Dr. Wong. Tks!
