Malibu morning picture of the day - Thursday, April 24, 2014

Good morning one and all. And here's Thursday AM . . .

Looks like some boys were out playing with their jets earlier today. If you were flying a jet at dawn, is this where you would go?

And then to the right, and right again. Yesterday's smog buildup is out there--the orange--waiting to be sucked back in. There was a news story many years ago that said Southern Californians are more constitutionally resistant to deadly gas attacks than the general U.S. population. Another perk of living in the Southland!

Buncha stripes! And we think this is interesting to look at. (Not my pictures in particular, but in general.) We're funny that way. Rothko and Mondrian are right, you know.

Turning around, here is the paver-stone-lined path around the base of the Theme Tower.

"A gathering of angels, appeared above my head ..."

Oh, excuse me ... looked at the distortion in this lousy exposure and Styx came to mind for some reason.

May angels gather above your head and guide you to see even more than you expected today. Or if you run into a jet pilot, tell him/her thanks for breaking up the field of blue today.

Love,
Pops

Be truthful and frank, but be polite. If you use excessive profanity, I'll assume you have some kind of character flaw like Dr. Wong. Tks!
